The Game Awards founder Geoff Keighley has announced that this year’s Summer Game Fest event will kick off on Thursday, June 9th at 11am US-PT.
Keighley will host a live cross-industry showcase offering a look at what’s next in gaming with huge new game announcements, world premieres, special guests, and more.
Keighley has also announced a partnership with IMAX that will let people watch Summer Game Fest and this December’s The Game Awards in select IMAX cinemas.
The Summer Game Fest event will take place three days before Xbox and Bethesda’s Games Showcase which will be held on Sunday June 12th at 10am US-PT. That will offer titles from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda and Microsoft’s partners around the world.
Sony has yet to announce a 2022 PlayStation Showcase, though the last one took place in September last year so it’s unlikely to take place next month.
