USA Network’s legal drama “Suits” has found a major second life on streaming in the past few weeks as a large contingent of people appear to be marathoning the show.
The series topped Nielsen’s U.S. streaming charts for the third consecutive week from July 10th-16th with another 3.7 billion views across the two services – breaking its own record set last week as the most-streamed acquired program.
Over the last four measurement weeks (June 19th-July 16th), “Suits” has racked up more than 12.8 billion minutes viewed between Netflix and Peacock, according to Nielsen.
While “Suits” topped both the week’s most-watched streaming programs and most-watched acquired streaming programs lists, the Australian animated series “Bluey” also set a milestone.
Disney+ posted eleven new episodes of the series about cartoon dogs in the U.S. in mid-July which led to the title having its best viewing numbers to date.
The series achieved its first billion-minute week ever, with 1.4 billion minutes viewed. In fact, it was so big it bumped Netflix’s “The Lincoln Lawyer” to third place with 1.3 billion minutes viewed.
The new episodes constitute the second part of the third season of “Bluey” and aired back in June 2022 in Australia. The ten-episode third part of the third season aired in April-June this year in Australia, no word on its international release as yet.
