Legendary rocker Stevie Nicks has finally offered a response to Amazon Studios’ “Daisy Jones & The Six” TV series which wrapped its run back in March.
Based on the best-selling novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid, the series chronicles the rise and fall of a renowned rock band in the 1970s fronted by Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin).
Despite achieving superstardom and success, the band unexpectedly breaks up and only shares what caused them to implode decades later.
Daisy and the band were both loosely inspired by Nicks and her former band Fleetwood Mac. On Instagram, Nicks revealed she has already watch all ten episodes of the music drama twice:
“Just finished watching Daisy Jones + the 6 for the 2nd time. In the beginning, it wasn’t really my story, but Riley seamlessly, soon became my story. It brought back memories that made me feel like a ghost watching my own story. It was very emotional for me. I just wish Christine could have seen it. She would have loved it. Hopefully it will continue.”
That last quote hints at the limited series’ second season renewal chances which fans have been campaigning for online. The series. has earned nine Emmy nominations including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.
