Six weeks of shooting has commenced in the UK on the action sci-fi feature “Kill Command” at Vertigo Films.
Visual effects artist Steve Gomez makes his directorial debut on the film which follows a group of soldiers who are sent to a remote island to test the latest class of military robot.
Thure Lindhardt (“Keep the Lights On,” “Angels and Demons”) and Vanessa Kirby (“The Hour,” “Wasteland”) head a cast that includes David Ajala, Bentley Kalu, Mike Noble, Tom McKay, Osi Okerafor and Kelly Gough.
James Richardson is producing. Gomez is a close friend of “Monsters” director Gareth Edwards and the film hopes to capture that kind of genre success.
