Filming is continuing on Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: The Acolyte” series, the first live-action show taking place way outside the previously known “Star Wars” timeline.
Set during the tail end of the High Republic era at least a century before the prequels, the mystery-thriller takes viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers.
A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.
Co-stars Lee Jung-jae, Dafne Keen and Dean-Charles Chapman can be seen in the shots from the set. Other actors in the series include Amandla Stenberg, Manny Jacinto, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Charlie Barnett and Carrie-Anne Moss.
Leslye Headland created the series, serves as showrunner and executive producer, and will direct the first episode. Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King, and Jason Micallef are executive producing.
