In December 2011, celebrated “Mass Effect” and “Dragon Age” developers BioWare released “Star Wars: The Old Republic” – a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) based in the “Star Wars” universe.
This story begins after the establishment of a tenuous peace between a re-emergent Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic and was considered one of the most developmentally expensive games ever made.
Reviews were good and back in 2019 it was said the game had generated near a billion dollars in lifetime revenue. Today, to celebrate the upcoming tenth anniversary of the title, BioWare has announced they are re-releasing all the classic cinematic trailers created to market the game – this time all enhanced in 4K.
