Details have been released for “Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars,” an upcoming novel that bridges the gap between the celebrated 2019 game “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order” and its upcoming sequel “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor”.
In the story, Jedi Cal Kestis (Cameron Monaghan) has formed a family-like bond with the Stinger Mantis crew of Merrin, Cere, Greez, and faithful droid BD-1.
The galaxy’s future grows more uncertain by the day, but the Mantis crew grows more daring with each blow struck against the Empire.
Things take a turn when they encounter an Imperial deserter with “word of a powerful, potentially invaluable tool” to fight the Empire. That puts them in the path of the Inquisitor known as the Fifth Brother (introduced in “Star Wars Rebels” and in live-action in “Obi-Wan Kenobi”).
“Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars” hits stores on March 7th 2023. No word as yet when “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” will arrive though it’s likely to be not too far from that date.
