An all-new animated “Star Wars” anthology series titled “Tales of the Jedi” has officially been announced and will score its own dedicated panel at the upcoming Stars Wars Celebration event at the end of May.
The reveal of the show came on the official Star Wars Celebration website offering panel listing additions with Tales of the Jedi being the central one. The listing was briefly removed after being spotted by some fans, but then it returned.
There are no announced details for the series, only that beloved “Star Wars” franchise writer-director-producer Dave Filoni will be on the panel hosted by Amy Ratcliffe and taking place on the afternoon of May 28th in Anaheim.
“Tales of the Jedi” follows in the wake of the animated shorts anthology “Star Wars: Visions” which premiered on last September on the Disney+ service.
