Though Paramount+ released a brief sneak peek last month that only teased the third and final season of “Star Trek: Picard,” today they’ve gone further.
As part of the show’s New York Comic Con presentation, a new trailer is out for the run and it’s quite revealing. There are good looks at Worf, Geordi, Beverly, along with a proper glimpse of the new season’s villain – Amanda Plummer as Vadic, captain of a starship called the Shrike who has a grievance with Picard and Starfleet.
There’s also plenty of visual effects action, and several key character re-appearances at the end with at least one of them you won’t see coming.
Mica Burton and Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut will have recurring roles as ensigns Alandra La Forge and Sidney La Forge, daughters of Geordi La Forge (Levar Burton).
Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, and Michael Dorn all return for one final high-stakes mission in the new season which is back on Thursday, February 16th.
