“Star Trek: Picard” S3 Final Trailer

Paramount+

Following its premiere during today’s NFL playoff game between the Bengals and the Bills on CBS, Paramount+ has released the final trailer and poster for the third season of “Star Trek: Picard” which returns Thursday, February 16th.

The first six episodes have been released to select media and so far appear to have been met with unanimous rave reactions, even from plenty who were highly critical of the show’s first two seasons and other modern Trek.

The new trailer reveals some casting additions including Todd Stashwick as the captain of the U.S.S. Titan, and former “Downton Abbey” and “Outlander” alum Ed Speleers who joins as a regular, playing an officer who works alongside Beverly Crusher providing medical efforts on worlds Starfleet has forgotten.

They join “Star Trek: The Next Generation” returnees Patrick Stewart, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis and Brent Spiner alongside “Picard” regulars Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd.

In what’s being dubbed the final run, a desperate message from a long-lost friend draws Starfleet legend Admiral Jean-Luc Picard into the most daring mission of his life and forces him to recruit allies spanning generations old and new.

The third season of “Picard” streams exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Crave in Canada and on Amazon Prime everywhere else worldwide. New episodes of the ten-episode season will be available to stream weekly on Thursdays.
