Paramount+ has premiered the trailer and poster for the third season of its animated comedy series “Star Trek: Lower Decks”.
The reveal comes as part of a panel at “Star Trek: Mission Chicago” this weekend where the key voice cast turned up in uniform no less, complete with one colorful wig (see the photo below).
Jack Quaid, Tawny Newsome, Jerry O’Connell, Noel Wells, Eugene Cordero, Dawnn Lewis, Gillian Vigman and more return for the new ten-episode run which see new challenges for the U.S.S. Cerritos crew.
The teaser art does a bit of a “Star Trek: The Next Generation” deep dive, showing off the return of the exocomp Ensign Peanut Hamper.
The season will premiere in the third-quarter of 2022 on Paramount+ in the United States, and on Amazon Prime in various international territories.
