Just one day after premiering the third season, CBS All Access has officially renewed “Star Trek: Discovery” for a fourth season.
Those involved have already been at work on another season and pre-production has been well underway ahead of filming kicking off on November 2nd. Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise will continue to serve as co-showrunners for the new season.
The third season has seen U.S.S. Discovery crew dropping out of a wormhole and into an unknown future in the 32nd century – over 900 years from the home they once knew and centuries past any established Trek lore.
Now living in a time filled with uncertainty, the U.S.S. Discovery crew, along with the help of some new friends, must together fight to regain a hopeful future.
