The Sylvester Stallone-led sci-fi-action thriller “Little America” has reportedly been a big hit with buyers at the European Film Market with the Rowan Athale penned and directed feature selling to many countries.
The story is set in a dark future where the United States has gone bankrupt and turned into a war zone, which has led many of the wealthiest Americans to flee to and live in a walled off city inside Hong Kong.
Stallone plays a mercenary hired by an Asian billionaire to find his daughter somewhere within the city-within-a-city of ex-pats.
Production is set to begin mid-year through Stallone’s Balboa Productions and AGC, while Michael Bay is executive producing through his Platinum Dunes.
