“Spider-Man” Yelena Rumors Get Wilder

For a while now, Florence Pugh has been rumored to reprise her role of Yelena Belova in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”.

The actress hasn’t appeared in any promotional material so far, which suggests if she is in the film, it’s likely little more than a cameo.

Now, scooper DanielRPK has posted an unexpected rumor about her role saying: “Part of Yelena Belova’s role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day is her and Peter seeing each other naked.”

Further details weren’t offered. Speculation has quickly swirled that it ties to other reports which suggest Peter Parker (Tom Holland) runs into a neighbour taking a bath in his apartment block.

All three of Holland’s previous “Spider-Man” films have featured a scene, usually played for laughs, in which a character walks in on Peter in some state of undress with someone else.

Both Holland and Pugh have previously expressed a desire for their two characters to share screen time. Also today, two new featurettes for the film are out with never-before-seen footage from the movie.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” opens in cinemas on July 31st.
