Sony Pictures’ second Tom Holland-led Spider-Man film, “Spider-Man: Far from Home,” is joining its already available predecessor “Spider-Man: Homecoming” on the Disney+ service from November 3rd.

Before this time in the United States, the film has been available on VOD, disc and on the Starz app and will leave the latter when it switches to Disney+ next week. The film has already been available for some time on the Disney+ service in international markets.

It will mark the second of the MCU Spider-Man films on the service, the first being its aforementioned predecessor. Its popular successor and most recent entry, “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” is not available on either the U.S. or international versions of the Disney+ app.

Earlier Sony Spider-Man films, including the Tobey Maguire-led trilogy, the Andrew Garfield-led films, and the first “Venom,” were added earlier this year.

As for when a fourth film is coming, that remains in question. Scooper Daniel Richtman is reporting today (via World of Reel) that the fourth MCU “Spider-Man” film is targeting a late 2024 shooting start which would suggest either a late 2025 or Summer 2026 release.

Holland told THR earlier this year (prior to the actor’s strike) he had already started meeting with studio executives to break the story of the next entry and says he was “really, really happy with where we’re at in terms of the creative”.
