Hard to believe, but it was only a week ago that the internet was going crazy over set photos out of Glasgow for the first day of filming on Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”.
Tom Holland was on hand on set to shoot scenes in costume, both with and without his mask, for an action sequence in which cop cars chase a tank reportedly being driven by The Punisher (Frank Castle) while Holland’s Spider-Man tries to get inside and stop it.
Photos and set videos galore from fans and news outlets poured out of that set last Sunday. Now, a week on, Sony Pictures has shared a featurette about that first day of filming.
The one-minute clip sees Holland sharing his thoughts, interacting with fans and speaking with the film’s director Destin Daniel Cretton.
Holland has already been spotted back in the UK late this week, shooting scenes with the majority of the shoot happening at Pinewood Studios in England.
Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers pen the film, which is also expected to see Jon Bernthal, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas star.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is slated to arrive in theatres on July 31st 2026.
