U.K. broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned a two-part documentary about actor Kevin Spacey who is currently in U.K. courts fighting multiple claims of sexual assault.
Spacey is due to attend a second hearing next month with a trial expected to be set for year’s end. Spacey is also involved a civil case with “Star Trek: Discovery” actor Anthony Rapp with that case is due to be heard in October this year in New York.
Currently going by the title “Spacey Unmasked,” the docu-series hails from Roast Beef Productions (“Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer”) and plans to take a forensic look at Spacey’s history, Rapp’s case and the criminal proceedings in the UK.
Kira Phillips will direct while Kathy Haywood will produce.
