A new “South Park” game has been officially revealed and it is changing up the formula seen in the prior Ubisoft games ‘The Stick of Truth’ and ‘The Fractured But Whole’.
THQ Nordic is behind the new title, a 3D-style “South Park” game which will release in 2024 and boast a bunch of children fighting on a snow day.
The official synopsis reads: “Join Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny, in three-dimensional glory, to celebrate the most magical day in any young child’s life – a snow day!
Grab up to three friends and battle your way through the snow-piled streets of South Park on a quest to save the world and enjoy a day without school.”
The game will release in 2024 and appears to allow players to customise their characters. The title is being set for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
It’s not clear if there’s a story mode or if this more simply a combat game, but more details are expected in the coming months.
