The current 27th season of “South Park” has been adopting an unusual schedule with Comedy Central releasing new episodes every other Wednesday.
Now though, the show will be skipping its scheduled slot for tonight because… it’s not complete.
Series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone said in a statement issued today: “Apparently when you do everything at the last minute sometimes you don’t get it done. This one’s on us. We didn’t get it done in time. Thanks to Comedy Central and South Park fans for being so understanding. Tune in next week!”.
Only four episodes of the current season have aired with the fifth now set for September 24th. Then the series will go on another two week break before returning on October 15th, October 29th, November 12th, November 26th and December 10th.
Previous episodes this season have targeted President Donald Trump, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, AI, tariffs and the Labubu craze.
What this week’s episode was to focus on hasn’t been revealed as yet.
