Sony Pictures is moving forward on a sequel to last year’s family feature “Goosebumps” with both director Rob Letterman and writer Darren Lemke closing deals to return.
Based on the best-selling book series by R.L. Stine, the film starred Jack Black as the author himself who was worked into the narrative along with a host of his horror creations.
The first film generated $80 million domestically and a further $77 million internationally on a budget of $58 million along with being a major home video performer. Deborah Forte and Neal H. Moritz are returning as producers.
