Don Cheadle, Benicio Del Toro, David Harbour, Amy Seimetz, Jon Hamm, Ray Liotta, Kieran Culkin, Brendan Fraser, Noah Jupe, Bill Duke, Frankie Shaw and Julia Fox have all been set as the main case of Steven Soderbergh’s new film “No Sudden Move”.
Previously titled “Kill Switch,” the project boasts a script by Ed Solomon (“Bill & Ted Face the Music,” “Men in Black”) and is set in 1955 Detroit. The ction centers on a group of small-time criminals who are hired to steal what they think is a simple document.
When their plan goes horribly wrong, their search for who hired them – and for what ultimate purpose – weaves them through all echelons of the race-torn, rapidly changing city.
Casey Silver is producing the film which falls under Soderbergh’s overall deal with HBO Max and follows on from his “Let Them All Talk” film with Meryl Streep and Candice Bergen – that project is expected to launch on the streamer sometime this year.
