Mondo and WaterTower Music have revealed a collaboration on a major physical release of composer Tom Holkenborg’s soundtrack for “Zack Snyder’s Justice League”.
Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL, has been behind some of the biggest scores of the past decade and – after his work on the theatrical cut of “Justice League” was thrown out – set about crafting a reimagined new score writ large for Snyder’s four-hour superhero opus.
The limited-edition set will be available for pre-order starting Wednesday at $200 at MondoShop.com and feature all four hours of Holkenborg’s score pressed across seven 180g vinyl discs, with a laser-etched B-Side on the final disc – all housed in a monochrome foil-stamped slipcase.
A heroic masterpiece deserves an equally heroic box set.
