Netflix has launched the first episode of “Snyder School,” a new YouTube series in which Snyder takes viewers through his filmmaking creative process.
The four-episode series will take you through screenwriting and storyboarding through choreographing, tone and world building, filming, editing, and full post-production.
The limited-run is the first in Netflix’s larger “How to Make Movies” series, one that will feature mini-shows similar to Snyder School that delve into filmmaking as a process and artform. It’s unclear what other filmmakers may be involved in future episodes.
The series will be released weekly on the Netflix Film Club YouTube channel. The first episode is now live with subsequent episodes arriving May 27th, June 1st and June 7th.
