The DC Universe launched this year, and with it a new Superman in the form of actor David Corenswet.
It also meant the sweeping aside of any remnants of Zack Snyder’s DCEU, including some “Peacemaker” retconning, which put a nail in the coffin of that universe.
Now, Snyder recently joined Instagram and has been sharing production stills from his passion project “The Last Photograph”, which he’s been trying to get into production for decades.
Today, though, he offered a never-before-seen shot of Henry Cavill dressed up as Superman from the set of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”.
In addition, he’s added the caption “Henry Cavill is Superman”, which has stirred up talk among the SnyderVerse faithful on social media.
Snyder and James Gunn have been in contact, but it’s thought that the chances of Snyder returning to do a DC film are remote.
