“Snow White and the Huntsman” scribe Evan Daugherty has been hired to pen the third chapter of the “G.I. Joe” film franchise for Paramount and Hasbro.
“G.I. Joe: Retaliation” director Jon M. Chu is returning to helm the next outing following on from the $371 million worldwide gross of the recent sequel.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing. Daugherty also worked on a last minute re-write of the currently in production, Michael Bay-produced “Ninja Turtles” reboot at Paramount.
