After what initially looked to be a very quiet back half of the year, the Fall release calendar for video games is finally starting to come into focus.
Ubisoft has finally announced a release date for its long-delayed pirate game “Skull & Bones” which will arrive on November 8th on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. A series of live tests will take place before the game is released.
Inspired by the Indian Ocean during the Golden Age of Piracy, the multiplayer game sees players rise from an outcast to an infamous pirate – crafting a variety of unique ships to survive, thrive, and rule in an immersive world.
Whilst it hasn’t set a specific date, Supermassive Games isn’t lying down after the success of “The Quarry” and is still proceeding with its annual Dark Pictures entry which will hit this Fall.
“The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me” will unfold in a hotel owned by a rich recluse that’s obsessed with serial killer H.H. Holmes and thus has created his own hotel with a maze-like layout and traps. Check out the just-released trailer below:
The titles will arrive in the midst of a busy window with “Marvel’s Midnight Suns” on October 7th, “A Plague Tale: Requiem” on October 18th, “Gotham Knights” on October 25th, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II” on October 28th, “God of War Ragnarök” on November 9th and “The Callisto Protocol” on December 2nd.
