Six more have joined the live-action “One Piece” series on Netflix. “Agents of SHIELD” alum Jeff Ward will play Buggy alongside Vincent Regan (“The Royals”) as Garp, Morgan Davies (“The End”) as Koby, Ilia Isorelys Paulino (“Me Time”) as Alvida, Aidan Scott (“Action Point”) as Helmeppo, and McKinley Belcher III (“Ozark”) as Arlong.
Debuting in 1997, the manga follows Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat crew on their globe-trotting quest to find the legendary treasure of the former King of the Pirates – Gol D. Roger.
The group join the previously announced cast including Inaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero Gibson and Taz Skylar.
Steven Maeda will act as showrunner and executive producer on the live-action adaptation of a prolific franchise that already includes over 1,000 episodes of anime and over 1,000 chapters of the manga.
