“The Simpsons” creator Matt Groening has confirmed that the show’s new short film “Maggie Simpson in ‘Playdate with Destiny,'” will release today on Disney+.
The story will follow the one-year-old, pacifier-sucking daughter of the Simpsons family as she finds friendship with a baby on the playground while facing dangers in the park.
The previous tie-in short, Oscar nominee “Maggie Simpson in ‘The Longest Daycare,'” is also set to stream on Disney Plus later this month. Since launching in November, Disney Plus has surpassed 50 million subscribers this week.
