After months of rumors, Konami looks to be finally breaking its silence about the future of the “Silent Hill” franchise.
The company has announced that a Silent Hill Transmission live stream will take place this Wednesday October 19th, at 2pm US-PT via the official Silent Hill website.
What will be announced hasn’t been revealed, but there have been reports for a while now that a remake of “Silent Hill 2” is in the works, a new entry dubbed “Silent Hill: The Message” is on the way and was recently rated by the Korean Ratings Board, and there’s a potential VR game.
More confirmed is that filmmaker Christophe Gans, who directed the 2006 “Silent Hill” film, is working on a new film adaptation of the property that is aiming to begin filming in February.
