“Silent Hill: Ascension” Web Series Trailer

Konami

Konami has released the first trailer for “Silent Hill: Ascension,” a project that’s being dubbed a live, real-time interactive streaming series based on the celebrated video game franchise.

Gaming-focused streaming service Genvid Entertainment released the trailer for the project, which joins the likes of previous interactive live events from the company like “The Walking Dead: Last Mile” and “Pac-Man Community”.

The series follows multiple main characters from locations around the world tormented by new and terrifying Silent Hill monsters. Viewers actions will determine the outcome, including which characters will survive.

Even the project’s creators say they do not know how it will end as the character’s fates are all in the audience’s hands whilst the story unfolds simultaneously around the globe.

In a press release, Producer Motoi Okamoto says the story will take place in “never-before-explored locations” along with introducing new characters to the Silent Hill universe.

The project goes live later this year and comes ahead of both the “Silent Hill 2” remake and the next planned “Silent Hill” film, amongst other projects in the works.
