ShoWest is underway in Vegas right now and Coming Soon is on the ground with lots of updates from the action. The most notable news so far:
– The title for the fourth “Terminator” – “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins” – has been dropped and will now go into production without a working title. A May 22nd 2009 release is still being targeted.
– It’s not official yet, but “Iron Man” looks like it might open a few days earlier in select markets – likely Wednesday April 30th.
– A second trailer for “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” will hit screens sometime in April, quite possibly with “Iron Man”.
– 20th Century Fox’s “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs”, Disney’s “Bolt” and Disney/Pixar’s “Up” will all be 3D releases. Disney plans to have five 3D films in 2009.
