The first trailer has premiered for Roku’s “Swimming With Sharks,” a complete reimagining of the 1994 dark comedy feature about a toxic movie producer and his suffering assistant.
Boasting a gender switch for both key roles, the new version stars Diane Kruger as a studio chief who takes no prisoners, and Kiernan Shipka as a scheming intern determined to take her place.
Kathleen Robertson, Donald Sutherland, Thomas Dekker, Finn Jones, Erika Alexander, Ross Butler and Gerardo Celasco co-star in the series which was created by Robertson and which will be released in full on The Roku Channel on April 15th.
