“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” star Kiernan Shipka has signed on to join Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans in the holiday event film “Red One” for Amazon Prime.
The film is dubbed a “globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre”. Further lot specifics aren’t available.
“Jumanji” franchise helmer Jake Kasdan will direct the film based on an original story by Hiram Garcia with a script by “Fast and Furious” franchise alum Chris Morgan.
Kasdan, Morgan, Johnson, Hiram Garcia, Dany Garcia and Melvin Mar will all produce.
