More than twenty years after she left Hollywood behind, “The Shining” actress Shelley Duvall is back on the big screen.
Duvall has joined the cast of Scott Goldberg’s thriller “The Forest Hills,” her first film since the 2002 comedy “Manna from Heaven”.
Chiko Mendez stars as Rico, a disturbed man plagued with nightmare visions after enduring head trauma while camping in the Catskill Mountains.
Duvall will play Rico’s mother, who serves as his inner voice. Edward Furlong and Dee Wallace also star. Goldberg (“Moirai: The Drifter”) penned the script whilst Scott Hansen will produce.
