Filmmaker David F. Sandberg has confirmed on social media that the Zachary Levi-led DC sequel “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” has completed post-production and is ready for release.
Sandberg offered a behind-the-scenes still from his post-production work in the posting. The full wrap comes five months ahead of the film’s theatrical debut on March 17th 2023.
Billy Batson and his foster siblings, who transform into superheroes by saying “Shazam!”, are forced to get back into action to fight the Daughters of Atlas who plan to destroy the world.
The cast includes Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, Rachel Zegler, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Faith Herman, Meagan Good, Grace Fulton, Michelle Borth, Ian Chen, Ross Butler, Jovan Armand, D.J. Cotrona, Marta Milans, and Cooper Andrews.
