Willam Shatner has announced he is set to appear in the upcoming second season of Kevin Smith’s animated “Masters of the Universe” series at Netflix.
This season is titled ‘Revolution’ and is expected to follow on from last year’s ‘Revelation’ which launched to rave critical reviews. Specifics are under wraps, but Shatner is the first new actor confirmed for the project.
The news came as a part of Mattel’s Masters of the Universe 40th Anniversary Fan Panel on Thursday. In addition, a first look trailer for the third season of Netflix’s more kid-centric animated series “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” is out ahead of its August 18th premiere.
