“WandaVision” director Matt Shakman has hopped onboard the live-action “Godzilla & The Titans” series at Apple TV+ and Legendary Television.
Shakman will direct the first two episodes and serve as an executive producer on the series which was ordered at Apple back in January.
The show will continue the story of the Legendary Monsterverse established in the four Monsterverse films to date with a fifth on the way from director Adam Wingard.
The story will explore one family’s journey to uncover buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch.
Chris Black and Matt Fraction co-created the series with both executive producing alongside Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita. Black will also serve as showrunner.
Shakman remains set to direct the upcoming “Star Trek” film sequel currently in the works.
