It has been a meme, a painting, a Funko POP figure, and earlier this Summer a massive statue 25 feet long sitting by London’s Tower Bridge. Now the most iconic non-verbal moment of Jeff Goldblum’s performance in “Jurassic Park” has been immortalised by Chronicle Collectibles.
The company has made the surprise announcement of a 1/4-scale statue based on the famed sexy posing opened shirt scene involving chaos theoretician Ian Malcolm in the film. Available for pre-order for a whopping $599.99, the statue is 10 inches tall on an 18-inch diameter base and crafted in polyresin.
The collectable includes a cutaway that reveals dinosaur fossils buried underneath. It is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2019. The film’s tyrannosaurus rex is also getting a new 1:9 scale statue that stands 22 inches tall and comes in at a more costly $1349.99.
More details on both statues are up at ChronicleCollectibles.com.
