Set Photos: “Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”

Warner Bros. Pictures

The first set photos have been released from Guy Ritchie’s currently shooting new feature “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”.

Leading man Henry Cavill can be seen alongside Henry Golding, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer and Hero Fiennes Tiffin can be seen in the photos – as can director Ritchie himself.

The shots, especially the cast one, look like archival photos with all the men sporting beards, curly hair and old-time sailor looks as these men on a mission hang out together. The other shot has Cavill, Golding and Ritchie cracking up whilst filming.

The true story tale covers UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s and James Bond author Ian Fleming’s secret WWII combat organization.

The clandestine squad’s unconventional and ‘ungentlemanly’ fighting techniques against the Nazis helped change the course of the war and gave birth to the modern Black Ops unit.

Eiza González, Cary Elwes, Babs Olusanmokun, Til Schweiger, Henry Zaga, Mohammad Nour Hakmi, and Babs Olusanmokun co-star in the film.

Paul Tamasy, Eric Johnson, Arash Amel and Ritchie adapted the book based on war correspondent and military historian Damien Lewis’ best-seller of the same name. Ritchie, Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, Ivan Atkinson, and John Friedberg produce with filming underway in Turkey ahead of a 2024 release.
