“Homeland” and “Billions” actor Damian Lewis is completely unrecognisable in new set photos that have emerged showcasing him covered in make-up for his role as infamous former Toronto mayor Rob Ford in the biopic “Run This Town”.
Ford was mayor from 2010-2014 with a history of public intoxication, substance abuse and arguing publicly with his staff. The story unfolds against the backdrop of the last year of his mayoral term as a reporter attempts to expose a scandal involving the politician who doesn’t play by the rules.
The project is currently shooting in Toronto and co-stars Ben Platt, Nina Dobrev, Mena Massoud, Scott Speedman and Jennifer Ehle.
