Series Trailer: “Most Dangerous Game: New York”

Roku Channel

Roku has premiered the first trailer for the New York-set second season of the former Quibi series turned Roku Channel show “Most Dangerous Game”.

Liam Hemsworth is out and “The Umbrella Academy” star David Castaneda is in as the young male lead – here he’s Victor Suero, a down-on-his-luck fighter, who will do anything to protect his sister.

When said sister is held for a ransom of half a million dollars, he agrees to participate in a deadly game that sees him being hunted around the streets of New York by the world’s most experienced man hunters.

For every hour he avoids death, he receives a huge deposit in his bank account – but the game can only have one winner: the one left alive when 24 hours have elapsed.

Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz returns from the first season as Miles Sellars, the hunt organizer, whilst Anna Gunn, Ciara Bravo, Martina Ortiz Luis, and Aaron Poole co-star. Sam Hill directs the new run which is written by “Scorpion” creator Nick Santora.

The series is primarily based on the original 1924 short story by Richard Connell. The Quibi series originally premiered in April 2020 and was renewed for a second season – but the platform shut down its operations and Roku acquired most of its content including the series.

“Most Dangerous Game: New York” will be released on The Roku Channel from March 10th.
