Apple TV+ has premiered the full trailer for the reality-shifting serial killer thriller “Shining Girls” starring Elisabeth Moss (“Top of the Lake,” “The Invisible Man”).
Based on Lauren Beukes’ best-selling novel, the story follows Kirby Mazrachi (Moss) as a Chicago newspaper archivist whose journalistic ambitions were put on hold after enduring a traumatic assault left her in a constantly shifting reality.
Years later, she learns that a recent murder is linked to her assault and teams with veteran reporter Dan Velazquez (Wagner Moura) to understand her ever-changing present – and confront her past.
Phillipa Soo, Amy Brenneman and Jamie Bell co-star in the series which premieres April 29th on the service.
