Following their prior collaborations like “Judas Kiss” and Cinemax’s crime-comedy series “Jett,” actress Carla Gugino and filmmaker Sebastian Gutierrez are re-teaming for the limited series “Leopard Skin” which seems to be rather akin to “Jett”.
Fleeing a botched diamond heist, a criminal gang seeks shelter in the remote paradise of Playa Perdida, Mexico and the beachside estate of two women, Alba (Gugino) and Batty (Gaite Jansen).
Dark and humorous complications arise when they are joined by two dinner guests – TV producer Max (Philip Winchester) and his flighty girlfriend Maru (Amelia Eve) – and Alba’s former housekeeper (Ana de la Reguera) as they all are soon taken hostage. Murderous secrets, coldhearted betrayals, and shocking desires bubble to the surface as everyone awaits their fate.
Nora Arnezeder, Gentry White, Margot Bingham and Jeffrey Dean Morgan co-star. Gutierrez writes and directs the entire eight-episode limited series. He also executive produces alongside Gugino, Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz, and Miguel A. Palos Jr.
“Leopard Skin” will release on Peacock on November 17th.
