The Garfield-naissance continues as FX has premiered the full trailer for the Andrew Garfield-led event series “Under the Banner of Heaven,” an adaptation of Jon Krakauer’s true crime novel.
The story follows a devout Mormon detective in the 1980s whose faith is tested as he investigates a brutal murder that seems to be connected to an esteemed Utah family’s spiral into LDS fundamentalism.
Daisy Edgar-Jones also stars in the series created by Oscar-winner Dustin Lance Black (“Milk”) and directed by David Mackenzie (“Starred Up,” “Hell or High Water”).
Black, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Jason Bateman among others executive produce the series which will premiere exclusively on Hulu on April 28th.
