Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” is pretty much over with the comedian saying he feels like it’s done during a virtual press conference this week.
The most recent season boasted Martin Short, Ricky Gervais, Matthew Broderick, Eddie Murphy and more and launched July 2019. That season was part of a massive deal that the comedian struck with Netflix in 2017 that also included two specials.
The series has run for eleven seasons and eighty-four episodes to date, and according to the man himself, no further episodes are in the works.
“We haven’t planned anything with that show. I feel like I did that tour… I know they look very casual and easy but they’re actually a lot of work to make, the editing is very intense and I don’t know, I feel like I may have done that exploration at this point.”
Seinfeld, promoting his second Netflix special “23 Hours To Kill” on May 5th, also says that he may have filmed his last live stand-up special. However he says he has no plans to stop performing live once the global pandemic is over.
