Sony Pictures has released the new full trailer for “Uncharted,” their film adaptation of the famed PlayStation video game series.
This marks an improvement on the first trailer, mostly thanks to a switch of musical score and tone to feel more in line with the game’s treasure-hunting adventure tone. Even so, the film faces a sceptical fanbase over its casting choices.
In the film, “Spider-Man” star Tom Holland plays a younger version of the treasure hunting Nathan Drake, while Mark Wahlberg co-stars as Nathan’s mentor Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan. Antonio Banderas, Tati Gabrielle and Sophia Ali co-star.
Reuben Fletcher directs the project which opens on February 18th 2022.
