Second Trailer: “Resident Evil: Requiem” Game

Capcom

Following its premiere during this morning’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Capcom has officially released the second trailer for “Resident Evil: Requiem”.

This marks the ninth main entry in the “Resident Evil” franchise, which follows on from 2021’s eighth game “Resident Evil: Village”.

“Prepare to escape death in a heart-stopping experience that will chill you to your core” says the press release that touts that “a new era of survival horror begins”.

In the game, you play as Grace Ashcroft, the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft from “Resident Evil: Outbreak,” and the game trailer confirms a return to Raccoon City, which is now in ruins – including the police station, which can be glimpsed.

The new trailer confirms the title will be first-person, like the seventh and eighth games, but also seems to switch to third person for all the cinematics.0

“Resident Evil Requiem” launches February 27th 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam.
