Seal Team Scores Sixth Season Renewal
Paramount+

The David Boreanaz-led military drama series “SEAL Team” has been renewed for a ten-episode sixth season on the Paramount+ service.

Both “Evil” and “SEAL Team” made the jump from CBS to become originals on Paramount+ with their most recent second and fifth seasons respectively. Both ended up being the steamers most-watched original drama series (excluding sci-fi series).

“Evil” was already renewed for a third season and now “SEAL Team” has landed a sixth. Both have also reportedly done the job that was hoped – namely bringing in viewers from the broadcast network over to the streamer according to its CPO Tanya Giles.

“SEAL Team” follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan and execute high-stakes missions. Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley and Toni Trucks also star.

The pair of programs will soon be joined by the “Criminal Minds” revival which, despite reports to the contrary, is said to still be very much in development and “alive and well”.
