A trailer and posters have been released for Joe Chien‘s creature feature “Abyssal Spider” which appears to involve at least one if not several giant sea spiders.
Set for release this September in China, Wang Yangming play Ajie – a coast guard rescuer assisting in helping a reef tanker crew in a storm while a dark shadow haunts the depths beneath. The only survivor, Ajie carries the guilt of that failure years later.
Now back on the water, he’s on a fishing boar crew when they rescue Xiaojing (Ke Jiaying) who fell off a yacht. Soon things on the boat start to go wrong, and they have to overcome their own suspicions of each other and unknown creatures under the water.
