Josh Boone, the writer/director of “The Fault in Our Stars,” has confirmed on social media that the second draft of the script for his “X-Men” spin-off “New Mutants” has been completed and delivered to producer Simon Kinberg.
Boone and Knate Gwaltney are co-writing the script with “X-Men: Apocalypse” actors Alexandra Shipp and James McAvoy rumored to be returning as a young Storm and Prof. Xavier respectively. Maisie Williams and Anya Taylor-Joy are rumored for the roles of Wolfsbane and Magick in this story of a group of teenage mutants as heroes in training.
